It's the first time I go for happy hour and it was so worth it ! This is one of my favorite drinks here and I didn't know it was on the happy hour menu!!! The ambiance here is amazing, there's different sections with different moods. Super nice staff. If you go make sure you try the artichoke dip IT IS THE BEST!! By the way... I'm patiently waiting for them to bring back the Chicken Parmesan Pizza !
The food was wonderful, the waitress was great. We both had the braised short rib for lunch and it was a great portion.
Went with a friend on a Sunday for brunch. On the way there I got on the wait list that said it would be an hour wait. We almost switched locations but decided to still check it out. The valet was on it. Once we told them we were on the wait list they took care of us quickly. Once inside I informed the lady at the front desk that I was on the wait list and how long would it be. She said we could be seated now. So glad we came anyway. The restaurant itself is really cute. Plenty of seating with good music and sports on the tv's. We were seated kind of on an elevated seating area that kind of let us look out over the whole restaurant. There was plenty of food to choose from and what I really liked from looking on the menu online there were pictures of the food options. We decided to try the chicken eggrolls for a light appetizer and it was really good and filling but not so much that there was no room for anything else. The star of the meal for me was the bourbon pecan french toast. These was lots of fruit on top and the pecans and sauce took it over the top. Plan on going back for dinner with hopes that it will be just as good
Location Knox-Henderson section of Dallas-northeast Parking Look for the complimentary valet. Atmosphere Historic, classy, upscale Seating Bar, tables, booths, large second room in back with pool table, outdoor patio, large tv's throughout. Service Immediate and friendly-from valet to hosts to servers-great! Menu Note-This review is for the happy hour menu. There are alot of drinks and one food item-pizza-choose-we had the farmers which is a meat lovers-loaded, thin tasty crust. Yes, we ate it all-so yum! We had the aperol spritz which came in a large goblet. Very refreshing! The texas tea was good. Summary Great location, outstanding service, excellent happy hour menu. Love this place!!
Decor is lovely but next time I'd love to either sit outside or closer to windows. It was a bit on the dark side once the blinds were pulled down. Our server was attentive but not intrusive. He was super patient with us (catching up with an old friend) and didn't rush us at all even though we noticed several groups waiting on tables when we were leaving. We tried the crab cake benedict. We were told that it's the most popular brunch item but I wished it were a little bit brighter and lighter. As far as benedicts go, not bad. Will be back to check out their happy hour. We didn't do our research beforehand but apparently there's street parking not far away but with the construction around the area, we just used the valet. It's complimentary so don't forget to tip.
Adrian was amazing! Everything he recommended was good. Braised short ribs, egg rolls, spinach dip, harvest bowl
This patio ROCKS! For a long time this has been my favorite brunch spot but I hadn't been in a while. This last time though my espresso martini was SUPER strong caffeine-wise. Other than that, the vibes and atmosphere yet again did not disappoint! My only drawback is the super strong caffeine from the espresso martini...I like a more mellow caffeine from an espresso martini. I pretty much couldn't even feel the alcohol bc the caffeine was so strong...and it made me shake Otherwise, keep doing what you're doing Chelsea Corner! Y'all rock!
I came here for happy hour with coworkers. Parking can be a bit tricky but we came early so found street parking. Woo hoo. They have drinks of course and then pizza on the happy hour menu so we did get some. I am not much of an alcoholic drinker so this will be about pizza because food makes us happy as much as the numbing effects of alcohol. Too much of either is a downer ;) This place has a nice ambiance. We sat on the patio right next to the fireplace which feels nice, but for a while. There was a reason that spot was open. It's pretty jam packed inside, i definitely prefer the patio which is more open, presuming the weather is cooperating. I would also like to acknowledge our fantastic server who was very attentive and always fun. Pizza! It wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best pizza in the world either. Very much a good pizza for which i am glad to have paid happy hour prices for. I would sum this place thusly. I'd come here to hang out again, and have the pizza while hanging out, but i wouldn't come here especially for the pizza. I think they have other stuff on the menu though so the food might be awesome for all i know :)
A group of us from worked stopped in for happy hour on a Tuesday afternoon. We planned on getting drinks and dinner. Our drinks came out quick and were tasty. The happy hour selection is a bit limited, but fine. At the suggestion of a friend, I had the cheeseburger. It was quite good and very filling! The service was a bit slow. We waited some time for our server to take our dinner orders. Then we waited longer for our food to arrive. We had to ask to order more drinks, to get water refills, and for missing silver ware. In the end, we were there for more than 2 hours. I'm glad we started early.
